Local Resources 21
You have now entered the Local Resources 21 Toolkit.
The Resources are listed under each of the 10 Aalborg Commitments.
Simply click on an Aalborg Commitment, then choose "Resources" and this will take you to a list of records, under that Commitment. Then select the country and category (policies, tools, good practice, or knowledge centres) that you wish to look at.
Each record has a short summary of, and web link to, a specific resource. This could for example be a report produced by the EU on climate change or a report from a local authority on energy efficiency measures
On the left side of the page you can go to the website of the Local Sustainability portal, which is a 'one stop shop' for local governments seeking to find targeted information and guidance on local sustainability issues. There is also a link to the Local Evaluation 21 website (a tool for evaluating local sustainability processes), and to the Local Targets 21 website (a tool for setting local sustainability targets).
You can also access the websites of other key organisations or documents from the links on the right of the page, including the EU Thematic Strategy on the Urban Environment, the European Sustainable Cities and Towns Campaign, and Aalborg +10.
The main route for searching for resources is through the 10 Commitments, however you can also Search the summaries of each record, by entering a specific term, for example ‘public transport’.
